These Terms and Conditions form a binding contract between Adventure Bike Hire (Slimbridge) (The Company) and you (The Hirer).

The Hirer must be at least 18 years of age.

​

A damage deposit of £50 cash is payable on arrival.  This will be returned provided there is no loss or damage to the bike and the Bike is returned on time

​

The hirer is in complete charge of The Bike and is responsible for its safe use.  In the event of an accident the Hirer shall notify The Company immediately and obtain names and addresses of any witnesses.  Under no circumstances should anyone admit any liability.

The Company will not be liable for any loss or damage to any personal property including injury caused by events or circumstances beyond The Companies' reasonable control.

​

Whilst we take every care to service and maintain the bikes, no responsibility will be accepted by The Company for loss of time or expenses through breakdown, damage or defects.

The Hirer will be given full instruction/briefing on the safe handling and control of the equipment and will then sign a 'Bike Acceptance Certificate' confirming that they have received this instruction and are confident of the responsibilities implied under English Law for their safety.

 

Methods of Payment

We accept payment by credit card (MasterCard & Visa) UK debit cards, bank transfers and Paypal.

Cycle Hire Cancellation and Refunds

No refunds will be given for cancellations of cycle hire bookings.

If you are unable to undertake your cycle hire booking due to serious illness, jury service or any other serious reason, your booking can be transferred to another date subject to availability within a 6 month period from the original booking date. Transfers can only be made if you cancel your booking at least one day before the date of the hire.

Helmets and Reflective vests

Helmets and reflective vests are provided as part of your bike hire and we strongly encourage their use.

​

Equipment Hire

Under 18's need adult supervision.

Photo identification must be provided prior to issue of your cycling equipment, such as a Passport or Driving License. 

All cycles and equipment are thoroughly checked before and after each hire. Any damage found on return may be charged for.

Repair kits are provided with your bike hire. A charge will be made if any items from the kit are lost or damaged.

Please cycle sensibly with respect for others. Anyone cycling in a discourteous or unsafe manner whilst in possession of Adventure Bike Hire (Slimbridge) Equipment will have the equipment repossessed by Adventure Bike Hire (Slimbridge) with no refund of hire charges.

Cycles should be locked to a permanent fixture if they are to be left unattended using the lock provided.

Theft of a unlocked bicycle will be the responsibility of the hirer who will be subject to a charge to cover a replacement of a bicycle if stolen.

​

No refunds or reductions will be given for any equipment that has been returned for any reason, early.

If for any reason we believe a customer cannot competently ride a cycle we reserve the right not to issue them with any cycling equipment.

Adventure Bike Hire(Slimbridge) reserves the right not to hire equipment to an individual.
